Brian C. Rosenberg

Practice Focus

Brian Rosenberg primarily counsels clients with respect to real estate matters, including acquisitions, finance and development matters, and also assists financial institutions in connection with all aspects of commercial lending, with a particular focus on loan transactions secured by real property. In addition, Mr. Rosenberg serves as local Maryland counsel to lenders and real estate owners in multi-state transactions, and has extensive experience in preparing and negotiating attorney opinion letters in loan transactions.

Publications/Speeches

Mr. Rosenberg has lectured and prepared materials on various topics related to commercial finance and banking and financial law, including the documentation of loans, title insurance, perfection of liens and security interests under the Uniform Commercial Code, environmental liability and standby letters of credit. He has also assisted financial institutions in drafting form loan documents.

Honors

Mr. Rosenberg served as a committee member of the Special Joint Committee on Lawyers’ Opinions in Commercial Transactions of the Maryland State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Baltimore City.
